Big-M,

This is the nature of the automotive industry. A design of a new model of any car is finalized a long time before release. This is because after the design is set, they need lots of time to make the car production ready. It's a VERY involved process.

Sorry, but I'm sure, a car that is due for release next year has been set in stone a long time ago. Nothing we can do to change that. I bet you they are already working on the design of the one AFTER the E60 (and E65).

There are exceptions to this, some cars have been developed in record time (couple years), but in genereal it's a long process.

Hope that helps. If anyone have more specifics on this please add.

"The new 5 has been already set in stone"

On what basis is the above statement true ? Any related articles ?

Tell me you're not sure...please !

I hope you checked out the design of the 5...

M
