Were you getting a banging or thumping sound before you replaced this part? I have a noise in the rear suspension that may be a vacuum pump or something with the self leveling.

I dont even know what this item is called. I have had several shops try to locate it on their programs and most have a different diagram than what my car looks like.

To describe it as best as possible, it looks like a boomerang. It is on the drivers side rear and connects to the wheel hub assembly jsut behind the axle. It connects to the underframe of the car near the self leveling accumulator. It looks like an "L" that is lying on is back. If anyone can post or email the fiche that has the drivers side rear suspension diagram with the numbers, i would really appreciate it. thanks in advance.
