SOrry about late reply. I would check into some of the things the other guys have mentioned. I would say though, it would take a serious loss of sound deadening material to actually hear a difference. Based on that, I would think there's a gap somewhere. It could be just a bad adjustment of the door so it doesn't seal properly agains the weatherstrip, or there's a gap in the weatherstrip. instpect closely and see if the door seals properly, and if it appears to be adjusted properly. You may want to look inside the door, to see if the window seals are working properly, and all the sound dampening mats are in place. I don't actually have a parts diagram, but there isn't much to know, other than that there's a large mat covering the door, which is visible once you take off the door panel.

Bottom line: I don't think you're missing any parts, it seems like a matter of proper sealing, etc.

Also, check a post lower on this page about some plugs underneath the car that can cause wind noise if missing.

A more specific description of the noise might be helpful as well. How does it change with speed and other conditions. Where does it appear to come from (Front of door, rear of door, etc.). Anything helps.

I'm experiencing noise from outside the car, after a bodyshop installed new doors. I'm interested in a parts diagram, in order to determine what parts are needed in eliminating noise. I'm not confident that it was put back together correctly.

Tim E.

I've had the door panels off, maybe it's something I can explain for you.

Anyone have a parts diagram of the rear and front doors? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
