I have a 98 740i with 58K miles. I have noticed the front tires are wearing more on the outside edges. I suspect I need an alignmnet and/or adjustment to the front end. Can any alignment shop do this work or is there something special about the 7's alignment that only the stealer can do?

I also have the common steering wheel shake between 50 and 55 mph but have also noticed an extremely violent shake or shimmy in the steering wheel during hard braking. This has only happened a few times in the past 6K miles and it immediately subsides when I stop braking. The shake is extreme. Anyone else experience this condition?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
