CAN"T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG? (archive)

Come on guys, the debate over the relative merits of the new 7 will go on for a long time (for the record I don't care for it aesthetically) so let's all remember 3 important rules:

1- There is nothing righteous about aesthetic values. They are subjective. Just because someone doesn't like what you do doesn't make them wrong. And if you can't understand or reason by this simple rule you're... well come to think of it, I guess you're the new generation of republican voter.

2- Specifically about BMW and the 7 - only the truly naive could possibly think Chris or any one single person for that matter has controling power over BMW's designs and design principles. There are undoubtedly many others involved in the process, looking over his shoulder and vetoing or worst, fine tuning his ideas to suit their philosophy and marketing conclusions.

3 - If in a debate you find yourself responding with insults, low blows or wise cracks you're either outwitted, or out of your depth. Either way you should realize it is time to butt out.

you must be some kind of knucklehead to lambaste the new seven. You dont know anything about it do you? It looks good. Remember when the five came out and how ugly it was?

What about the the British magazine called "AUTOCAR". it has a review/feature article on the E65er (new 7 Series) and they are quoted as saying, the rear end of the new 7 series is the MOST "PROBLEMATIC"!!!!!!
The magazine reviewers gave the new 7 series NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!!!!!
So, now what do you have to say, Mr. Loser Smart Ass!
CHRIS BANGLE DID RUIN THE NEW 7 SERIES and the NEW 5 SERIES IS NEXT IN LINE TO BE DESTROYED BY THIS BAFOON!
