no phone, whatever it comes in, whoever makes it or sells it, and in spite of what it supposedly sells for, is worth $2,000, or $1,000 for that matter. Press any wireless provider hard enough nowadays and you can get a top of the line digital/pda combo with voice recognition for a couple of hundred dollars and a few other sign up perks...

Just curious - anybody experiencing the same thing? Mine is 4 mos. old and numbers are starting to peel off. $2,000 phone!!!!!!!!!!!!
BMW just dropped the ball with the CPT 8000 in total functionality (can't retrieve call-waiting calls) and the phone itself.
Very, very disappointed. Not consistant with a $70,000 vehicle.
