self-leveling suspension was a chosen option on many 740iL as well as standard on 750iL - maybe with some variations among years.

I don't have self-leveling suspension, so I'm not sure what it looks like.

How can you tell if you don't have the window sticker?


I think only the 750iL's had the self-leveling suspension. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.


have someone sit in the back seat. turn on the ignition. If the car raises up to compensate for the extra weight, you have self-leveling.There is also a hydralic line atached to the shocks which are very stout in appearance.
