a/c-heater problem, can you figure this one out! (archive)

how about this one guys....the a/c - heater unit some time will switch on and off ( i notice the digital temp.- ie 72 degrees gage somtimes come on even when the fan switch is in the zero position and the unit is off..stays on for awhile then goes off..but the fan doesn't seem to go on...
