I combined mine with the lowering springs, so I can't comment on the effect of the shocks alone. I do tend to believe the difference is not huge, and in combination with H&R lowering springs they are absolutely wonderful. Retains a VERY comfortable ride while firming it up to make it noticably more sporty. Well worth the money/time/etc.
