I'm hearing grumblings about the new 7, looking to trade in my 2 yr old 740iL for the last of the 2001 iL.
Do dealers discount them down beyond the $7500 MSRP?

Definitely! Expect 11-12k below MSRP. The
iL's are cheaper than the i-sports, since the
"i"'s receive a $5500 allowance and $1700 gas-guzzler tax added to the sport package. (included in MSRP).
