No. I use synthetic and change it every 5000 miles. The only way it will last 25,000 is if you never let the engine cool down. Starting and stopping the engine polutes the oil. Any oil. Synthetics just do beter by not changing viscosity with temperature. Run it as long as you dare but you will find it looks like black molasses at about 10,000 unless all you do is interstate driving.

What does the Motor Oil Bible say about Synthetics and Frequency of oil change...

A Mobile petroleum engineer told me that Mobil One Synthetic was good for 25,000 Miles.............

Would you risk it?????????????
