My BMW dealer told me these just came out from Continental. Are these any better than the Arctic Alpins by Michelin. Thinking about mounting these on the 16" "Ellipsoid 60" style wheels on my '01 740i Sport.


I just bought a set of 16" Alpins for my new 740i Sport with new wheels. My feeling is that the Aplin is a proven excellent snow tire, and until the Continentals are "proven" I would stick with the Michelin brand.
