Replace Power steering hoses (archive)

Just replaced two power steering hoses. These were the two that attached to the pump. One goes back to the reservoir and the other goes to the steering box. The one going to the steering box is a little hard to get too. Thanks Nash for telling me about replacing the sealing washer with new ones. I would to take it back apart to replace them if they leaked. So make sure you get new washers for each end of the hoses that don't go back to the reservoir. You will also need a new clamp for the hoses connected to the reservoir. A regular 3/4" hose clamp will work. So far I have leak free power steering. It took about 3 hours.
