Someone that is familar with non-distructive testing can spray the with die penetrant and tell if it is a or just a surface flaw. I would be careful, if the wheel fails, it may cause a serious crash or a least tear your car up. Put your spare on until you can find out if it is a or not.

I was drying my rims this evening when I noticed what
appears to be a hair line running from the inside
edge to the outside edge of one of the spokes on my right
rear M-parallel. It does not appear to go all the way
thru the spoke but just along the surface. I was just
wondering if anyone else has had this happen. The car
only has 2700 miles on it so I will be keeping an eye
on that rim. I suppose it could be the finish ing
also. Its a little hard to tell. I might stop by Classic
tommorrow and let my service take a look.
