NAV CD System (archive)

I recently had a defective NAV CD unit replaced. With the older system, the screen allowed me to input INTERSECTIONS in addition to addresses. Since replacement, I no longer have the intersection function. I took it back to the dealer and they said that the latest firmware has been loaded: they even tried older versions, but I cant get the intersection function back.

Any ideas?
