Best money you can spend is to get a pre-purchase inspections from either a BMW dealer or qualified mechanic that is familiar with BMW's. Check Brett Anderson's site for the Nikasil block cast numbers. Sorry I don't know his site off hand...something like www.koalamotorsport.com (this is probably incorrect)... I'm sure you will find a link to his site if you search in the archives. Read everything you can about the 93-95 BMW v8 engines. Be wise and purchase only if you know what you are getting into or else it could cost you big $$$.
