Here in America there is a long standing tradition of aiding our defeated enemies.
Bin Laden has, for the past decade, been calling for a "Jihad"/ holy war against America.

Why are you surprised when he is apparently going to get his wish?

Americans have no problem with people practicing their religion and living their lives as they see fit. People in other countries can & should live their lives in the manner they choose, and are welcome to do so here in our land as well.

Americans DO have a problem with NUT CASES like Bin Laden, that exhort followers to attack us suicidally, because he has an issue with the Western way of life.

Bin Laden wanted a holy war???? Well he's got one. Just think of all the aid we'll be sending the families of his dead followers.

One final point, Subsequent terrorist attacks here in the US may in fact prompt escalation in the calibre of offense in the terrorist areas.

Don't worry about Bin Laden...He'll get his. WORRY that "American fanatics" might wind up controlling the nuclear arsenal. The worst case scenario could be the Afghani region glowing in the dark. Natural born killers exist here too, and only a FOOL would continue to piss them off!
