Big T - The TIS doesn't have much, but suggests replacing the cartridge and checking the spring settings on the CD changer. It appears that you can adjust the springs for verticle or horizontal mounting by moving a lever on the outside of the changer unit. I can't imagine why the spring settings would have changed, but something to try. It doesn't look like there is any common defect related to the CD changer as far as TIS is concerned.

Hope that helps,

Greg

Is there a known defect that causes the cd-changer to (1.)skip excessively over small bumps, and (2.) cut out occasionally (without bumps).

Any info greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Big-T
