This morning I paid a visit to my dealer to schedule winter tire change over. While there I had a chat with the sales manager about my 3-year lease on my '99 740iL, which will end this April. He told me BMWFS has recently started sending letters out near lease end, offering to extend the lease for one year, same payment, no questions asked. Also, when you extend, any excess mileage will be forgiven. Any of you guys receive this letter, extend under the program, or know anything else?

Also, something else which may be good news. The sales manager also told me BMW just set new policy on loaner vehicles, authorizing them (vs. leaving it up to the dealership). My dealership will take in a number of rental vehicles for BMW customers--no more fighting for one. We'll see how this works out, but per earlier board talk, this may be great news for many of you.
