and i'd love to have the daytime running lamps. on my '99 m roadster, i spent about $40 and got a canadian module (1" x 1") that replaced the U.S. lighting module (not sure what the exact name was). now i have daytime lamps on that car. i'm told it's not as easy for the e38. anyone know differently?

Does anyone know for sure whether or not the 1997 740iL has daytime running lights feature? If so, where is it turned on/of, light control module, system computer........

I know the 750 with Xenons has this feature.

I replaced my halogens with Xenons for that year and would like to invoke daytime runing lights.
