Four times a year I participate in Driver's Ed. events at race tracks in my region. Despite sustained periods (20-30 min.) of high rev, high speed driving, I have never seen the water temp needle deviate from it's normal straight up position.

The only water temp issue I have ever addressed was having the dealer install a new radiator (CPO) last August, as I was beginning to see minor seepage from the sides.

IMO the cooling systems in these cars are superb.
