I have nthe same problem, but mine has done this even in warm weather. Rough start, then the check engine light comes on. After I drive for a mile or so, everything is normal. I have been told that it may be lousy fuel pressure. I am really going with this diagnosis because I have had 2 occassions where gas has leaked from a location close to the rear passenger fuel pump. I have had the pump replaced about 1 1/2 years ago. I am scheduled to have my car look at this week, I will let everyone know what happens.
