If you are looking at a '95 you need to make sure the engine block has been replaced. The early V8s (93-95) had a problem with the bores eroding. It should be easy to check by running the VIN at a dealer to see if it has been done. I personally would RUN from one that had not been done regardless of milage. The 96 and newer cars do not have this problem. Other than that there are no major common failings. The stuff that goes is usually related to the electrics, seats, dash display, just make sure everything works. Then accept that the car requires a fair amount of expensive maint, at least $1000 a year. If you dont spend $1000 the first year you will spend over that the second. The major inspections can run from $500-$2000 depending on what the car needs. These are great cars, I am on my second(had '95 740, have '98 750), but there is a price for the greatness, just be aware that it is not a Toyota. Have fun looking, they are dirt cheap right now, a real value.
