For all those interested in upgrading the stereo in your e38 or even wonder what comes stock here are some pics of the door speaker panels. Shows you how much BMW spends on the stereo on the 7.

If you are interested in upgrading the stereo on your E38, the speakers are the only thing I would KEEP! I replaced everything else, and I am amazed how good the speakers sound with a clean amplifier and proper crossovers (and a couple of subwoofers).
