CD Player repair (archive)

95 740iL CD player has trouble playing some CD while my other 95 740i plays them just fine...I've used a "brush" lens cleaner.. NO change, it skips on bumps, but that might be the 18" rims where my other car still on 16s.. Can anyone recommend what I might do, recommend a place to send it out for a tune-up??
