Actually the two lighters are on two seperate fuses. I recently had one of the lighters out (facing the passenger seat). The dealer replaced a fuse above the battery in the trunk and it came back to life.

Yours looks like a common wire between the fuses is broken. Did someone pull too hard on the rear ligher ? That could cause the common ground cable to break. Take a look
