The actual handle replacement is quick and covered by warranty on your '98 I'm guessing.

In my case, I have an appt. next week at the body shop for final painting (BMW-paid). The dark grey primer looks interesting on my silver car, but is not optimal. :-)


BTW, regional BMW rep will need to "approve" paint work if more than handle is required. In my case, the door was scratched as the handle broke.

drivers side door handle snapped right off today. is this easy to fix or am i going to have problems with this
