I'm soon to be replacing door 5 1/4 inch speakers on my 98, but the high end ones seem to be quite thick, like three inches or more. Anyone know what the maximum thickness might be to use the stock grilles? Also, any tips on how to access the rear deck speakers, preferable from inside the car?

Only 2" in the doors and not a lot of 2 way speakers will fit. You have to remove the rear seat to access the rear shelf speakers and they are only subs. I left them in an bought a 200w sub box for the trunk.
