John@bekkers.com sells Mintex red box pads that are much lower in dust. I would stay away from the dust covers - aside from the fact that they look bad, I'd be concerned about proper cooling of the brakes, no matter what the manufacturer of those covers will claim.

It may seem strange but I do enjoy cleaning the wheels on my '98 740IL. However, Michigan winters make this not so much fun.

Any suggestions on how to reduce or eliminate brake dust? Are there any dust free pads available that provide reasonable braking performance?
How about those dust covers? Do they work? Will they cause the rotors to overheat and warp?
