It may seem strange but I do enjoy cleaning the wheels on my '98 740IL. However, Michigan winters make this not so much fun.

Any suggestions on how to reduce or eliminate brake dust? Are there any dust free pads available that provide reasonable braking performance?
How about those dust covers? Do they work? Will they cause the rotors to overheat and warp?

Thanks in advance
Joe

I put covers on mine and they work fine. They are called Kleen Wheels. The 7's brake rotors are cooled by air vents from the front air dam. I know my covers are venting becuase some brake dust still gets out on my rims but very slight.
