Many people on the board, including me, have used the Mintex pads. There have been no comments indicating reduced brake performance, and my experience is very good. The only thing to be aware of is that they thend to squeak a little, but that can be mitigated with proper installation with some silicon/anti-squak on the pads.

It has been said the 'dustless' pads are harder, thus less dust; but it will have the downside of taking longer distance to stop.

Another way of saying the BMW factory pads are softer= grips better, and stops quicker = shorter distance = safer, but you have to live with the dust.

Any known facts out there?
