I really like the look and feel of a wooden steering wheel. I notice that Pacific BMW sells one for about $500. This seems like a lot, but I suppose it costs a bit because of all the button and do-dads on the steering wheel.

Does this cost seem reasonable?

How difficult would it be to install this myself? Is it even possible? (Remember, the air bag is in the steering wheel.)
