I put the Minitex pads on my 96 750il and there has been a definite decrease in dust. I live in the Boston Area and suffer the same problem in trying to keep them clean in the winter. I have had them on about 1k now, and I do notice a differnce in feel and sound, they are slightly "rougher" sounding and I think that they require more pressure when cold. I am curious how they are going to be during the winter.

It is pretty easy to change pads, so try'em, you can always go back.
