I'm 6'4" and the extra 5.5 does make a diff to the back seaters if you take the clip off the driver seat rail and use some of the extra seat travel to get more leg room up front...

From what I have read the major difference betweent the i and the il is the wheelbase. What is the implication of this? And are there other significant distinctions that I should be aware of? I am interested in a car that is an i.

Is it possible to modify the front seats so that they go back further? I'm 6'6 and while the car fits great another inch or two might be worth considering.
