i own a 2001 740i sport...cellular service from AT+T...i'm on my 2nd phone from the dealer...1st one worked flawlessly when connected to the car...but not when out of the car. 2nd worked for 2 days..now it won't work at all!!!not in or out..HELP...dealer no help


I've had my 2001 740iL since July with the 8000 series Motorola phone and it works perfectly in the car or outside the car. Go figure. BTW, I have AT&T Wireless service as well in the Phoenix area. Maybe its the heat?
