durable goods (air conditioners, refrigerators,
vcr's, etc). Be prepared to spend money on maintenance and repairs, but DON'T expect to get that money back (dollar for dollar) when you sell the car. Granted, a newer model doesn't guarantee that you won't have any problems, but there's less of a chance. And regarding your insurance, call your
broker. You might be pleasantly surprised. There's
probably just a small difference in the yearly premium.
The other board members said it best: don't get married to the old car. If you can afford it, upgrade. You'll be glad you did.
