The Motorolla Timeport/StarTac should work but the best you will get is to use the car as a charger (This stikll requires the wires connecting in the center console.) At present you do not want the BMW phone anyway. See threads about phone problem up the page.


purchased a preowned 740i prewired for phone, but no phone. Can a phone be purchased from any other source other than BMW that would at least work with the wiring, even if it didn't have all the bells and whistles?(voice, etc)
