I replaced my burned out stop lights with generic (Wagner) bulbs and now the "check brake lights" indicator shows constantly even though the lights do in fact work. I assume there's some magic involved and I will have to see the dealer for official bulbs to make this go away. Anybody else have this problem? All was well until the first bulb burned out.

I used "Wagner" too (silver contacts). But I only new york 09:33 11/25/2001 (1)
