Get the CD-Rom which takes place of a technical manual. I assume it has a lot of electrical information. I also assume this is the only option available to find such info. I'm planning to get the CD-rom myself soon, and I think every E38 owner who does anything himself should have one.

Check archives for info on the CD-rom, or maybe someone will post specific info.
