But it's going whever the car is running. In fact, it starts up when you unlock the car, stays running while the car is on, and, like you say, quits after you have gone into your house.


And mine's not subtle. It's plainly audible and getting worse!

I understand it's some kind of fan. Probably has grunge stuck in the blades or something.
