Jak,
That I am aware, one does not exsist anymore. That is, they are NLA from BMW parts. What was available was the early(95 model year) E-38 paper ETM, avaliable from parts. It did not include component locations or connector pin-outs.
Centerl Lettershop(CLS) sell a Technical Documents CD-ROM (SD92-146) (1998-2000) for $280 that include the emissions system electrical circuits only.
The ETM for the E-38 is included in the DIS CD-ROM ($380). This CD runs on the Mobile Diagnostic System (MoDic) which is a Unix OS, Intel Pentium based system. CLS has the MoDic system for $12k. money! money! money!
Another CD-ROM is the Technical Information System (TIS) it cost around $120. It is the Repair Manual, Technical Data, Nominal Values and Torque specs on CD-ROM. However, it does not include the Electrical Troubleshooting Manual.
The Technical Training CD-ROM (SD92-125) ($150) is one of the best for the electrical system functional discription. However, it does not have specific electrical schematics. It does have the component locations and basic theory of operations.
Need I say this is what has made the late model BMW's less of a DIY'er car.
