I had the same problem 2 weeks ago. The next day my expansion tank (plastic) cracked and all the antifreeze came out and the car started to overheat. Towed to the dealer and they replaced the tank and the thermostat. According to the tech, the DME had recorded 500+ hours of faulty thermostat, but it had gone unnoticed during the Inspections. Hmmmmmmm.
