swap dme on 98 740i (archive)

Hi!
I own European Performance a strictly BMW shop in
Wilmington DE. I have a customer with a 1998 740i, who I
think has a bad DME. I want to swap computers off another
car but I'm not sure how to by pass the key code.
I know that its possible by removing a certain pin off the
DME. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
