The alert means that there's a load imbalance between the two front low beam lamps/circuitry. Typically, a bulb is burned out. Alternatively, if you've got different wattage bulbs on each side, that might be a cause. Sorry, I'm stumped otherwise.


The only time that's happened to me is when one of the two low beam bulbs were burned out.

I have started to get this message on my '98. The problem is that the low beams do come on automatically after 10-15 mins of driving. Turn the car off or on and the message comes back ....

Any ideas ?
