I find 18" to be just fine. Problem is that as you (archive)

go bigger on the rim you increase the likely
hood of bent rims. I want my car to look good
but I also want it to be useable for everyday
driving. I find the 18s don't get bent that
easily and still look and handle well. The
best of both worlds.
