My ABS and DSC lights come on every once in a while following a heavy rain. I think there must be a sensor that is getting wet and triggering the faults. After driving a few miles, I can turn off the car then back on and everything is OK. Don't be fooled though, when the lights are on, the ABS and DSC most certainly DO NOT function. I don't think it warrants a trip to the shop until they fail to reset properly.tw
Hi ya'll,
Friday the ABS yellow word and light came on. The brakes work fine and I made sure that the connection (under the hood) was tight. I'm a long way from a dealer...is there anything I can do? Ps: I don't know if this is related or not....we had a real good rain Thursday and Friday and while checking out things, after the ABS came on Friday afternoon, I found that the front passenger floor was very wet. It wasn't antifreeze just plain old wet water. Brings to mind "when it rain, it pours"!
Anyway, any thoughts on what I can do will be greatly appreateated.
