Certainly one of them would have determined that the wheels are OK, or not. Hubcentric spacers will only 1. Extend your offset; and 2. Randomly magnify or diminish harmonic imbalances. (Unless the wheel's not concentric w/ hub - ie.: non- or improper-OEM wheels.

Just MHO.
