customers taken for granted (archive)

let's assume that if u can afford this car that u r reasonably intelligent .....
My 2001i sport offers me the smooth ride that i expect from a luxury sedan...but when asked, offers handling 2nd to nothing on the road....
I resent the fact that BMW is unresponsive to some of its lousy electronics particularly it's lousy phone...enough of us have complained...but neither the dealers nor BMW offer any help.....yes i can afford to buy a 2nd phone...and i have....but the least one should expect from a car of this price in the year 2001 is THAT THE @#$%^&*#@ PHONE SHOULD WORK!!!! I suspect that LEXUS owners would have had this problem resolved by now.
To the BMW execs. monitoring this board...and we know that u do.....you are not doing yourselves any favors by alienating your customers with the higest earning capacity.

The days of buying a BMW just because it handles well are long gone.....we expect QUALITY in every aspect of a car
in this price range. In three to four years when i'm ready to buy a new car...you can bet that i'll be considering the competition.
