I am having it done by VAC Motorsports. The further I proceed into modifying this car, the more I am convinced that you need the expertise of a professional in projects of this magnitude. The variables and the little details, coupled with the electronic issues, make this a DIY nightmare. I anticipate a few return visits to VAC after the fact, just because it is new territory for the E38. The cost will be blurred somewhat as VAC & I have a sponsorship relationship for the One Lap of America. I will be carrying their name during the event, so there are considerations that will not normally be open to the public. I will try and gather more info from them when the project is complete.
