I think what you are looking for are calipers, not the rotors. I would caution against any type of painting or cover that would affect heat dissipation. Must be aftermarket, doesn't sound like something BMW would offer, especially since their braking systems are Ate (Albert Teeves), or Girling.

I saw an 840 with a red-colored brake rotors bearing BMW in large letters. The letters highly readable through the rims even as the car was moving. Anyone knows where these aftermarket (?) rotor, or rotor covers, are from?
